Daniel Wiser, Jr., is an assistant editor of National Affairs. Previously, he was a staff writer for the Washington Free Beacon. His writings have appeared in the American Conservative, the American Interest, the Claremont Review of Books, and National Review. He holds a BA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
