SO that we may have the record straight, I shall recapitulate the arguments I made in “Which of the Poor Shall Live in Public Housing.” Although Richard Scobie proposes only to bring “the results of a study” to our attention, the tone in which this courtesy is couched suggests that he believes his study refutes the contentions of my article.
