FEDERAL FARM policy is trampling individual rights, sacrificing the poor to the rich, and giving congressmen and bureaucrats vast arbitrary power over American citizens.  For almost sixty years the U.S. government has stubbornly repeated the same mistakes in its agricultural policy, mistakes that are slowly strangling American agriculture. Farm policy splendidly illustrates what happens when politicians try to plan and control economic activity.
