All quiet on the (post)Western front?
MULTICULTURALISM" is not an ideal on the North American campus today but an entrenched reality. Those who do not love it bear it, and those who accuse it are few. It defines the core of the moral mission of the contemporary university. The very question of culture as it presents itself in the university today is identical with that of multiculturalism. This is not without implications for the university’s role within the broader society.
